Description:  Design Proposal for a New Dining Center

In response to a request from West Chester University, GKO Architects, in association with Holzman Moss Bottino Architecture, developed a design proposal for a New Dining Center. Our team’s basic concept for the Dining Center was to create a “Social Heart” for the Campus. Inspiration for the concept came from Spanish town squares and courtyards. This concept was interpreted in a modern way as a centralized Dining Hall topped with a glass roof, which created an enclosed interior courtyard.
