GKO Architects was retained by a commercial client to design a private residence in New Jersey. This two-story home was configured to enable the owner to easily entertain guests in an open and welcoming environment. The main entry foyer leads directly into a great room featuring a large living room area and adjacent kitchen. The formal dining room provides seating for up to 16 guests. A large Game Room overlooks the nearby wooded area towards the rear of the house. The Game Room features a central fireplace, full bar, complete bath, and direct access to an indoor/outdoor patio which would serve as a transitional space to the future outdoor deck and swimming pool.
